These german shepards came for training due to their extreme reactivity and agression, with a history of biting both dogs and humans. During their training, these dogs learned leash manners, obedience, and were taught to interact with both people and other dogs in a safe and calm manner.
Insecure & Fear Agressive Dogs
These types of dogs have aggressive displays that come from anxiety and self-protection and in many cases they do bite people.
This pit bull mix rescue came to the board-and-train program as a last resort, her owners were planning on surrendering her to a shelter because of extreme anxiety and aggression. She had already bitten her owners’ friends and other trainers. At first, she showed clear signs of insecurity—tail tucked, body tense when approached, and attempted to lunge and bite. She was unable to walk safely without a muzzle. During her board-and-train, she became a confident and happy dog that was comfortable and safe around both humans and other dogs.
Extreme Anxious Dogs & Separation Anxiety
These types of dogs often show signs of stress, fear, and unease in various situations and becomes overly distressed when separated from their primary caregiver or when they anticipate being left alone. When alone, they exhibit behaviors like: excessive vocalization, destructive behavior, pacing, restlessness, and escape attempts.
This Dachund came to board-and-train as he couldn’t be left alone for any amout of time due to excessive barking and whining, and his anxiety during attempted walks would escalate until he was unable to move. During his stay, he became a balanced dog, learning to stay calm in his safe space, the kennel, and to enjoy walks.

This 4-month-old puppy arrived for board-and-train with no potty training or basic skills. During his stay, he learned basic obedience, leash manners, became fully toilet trained, was properly socialized with other dogs and people, and learned basic obedience commands as well as fetch.
