Cesar’s journey began on his family farm in Spain, where as a child he immersed himself in the observation of dog behavior and communication. As a teenager, Cesar launched a small business training neighborhood dogs. Word quickly spread about the remarkable results he achieved, leading to a large clientele eager to benefit from his expertise.
As a young adult, Cesar was certified through the CIM Formacion school in Spain in Psychology, Vet Tech Studies, Marine Mammal Training, and as a Trainer and Educator of Potentially Dangerous Dogs. Throughout his academic journey, he volunteered his time with animals in various capacities, including veterinary clinics, dog shelters, and dog training facilities.
After completing his studies, Cesar began his professional career training animals in 2010.
He became a Marine Mammal Trainer, following in the footsteps of Ken Ramirez and Karen Pryor, using positive reinforcement to train dolphins, sea lions, seals, walruses, otters and even sharks!

His diverse experience extended to a horse ranch with over 100 horses, and a facility housing parrots and birds of prey. Cesar’s passion for animal training took him all over the world, working with animals in Spain, the Netherlands, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Canada.
Eventually, Cesar’s expertise circled back to his first love – dogs. In Europe, he contributed to the training of dogs for Law Enforcement, specializing in tracking, building searches, patrol, narcotic and explosive detection, criminal apprehension, and advanced obedience.
Recognized for his skill and reputation, he was invited to intern at one of the most prestigious police and military dog facilities in the USA, refining his abilities alongside some of the world’s top dog trainers, including two Master Trainers and the President of the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWADA).

Since making Vancouver his home in 2017, Cesar has collaborated with various professional dog training facilities in Canada, working with both pet and law enforcement dogs. His accomplishments include fully training and validating an explosive detection dog to meet BC government standards.
Cesar’s wealth of experience and years in the field uniquely position him to understand the challenges faced by each client. He excels in identifying tailored solutions and crafting personalized training plans, consistently achieving success in his mission to enhance the lives of both pets and their owners.
